BioI could tell a tragic story if I wanted to...
About this child of a women scared by an overbearing hyper-Catholic who never quite figured out how to chose a mate (still hasn't).
I could speak of a self-destructive loathing of society and its rules and the way it makes those of us who don't fit the mold feel. Of a phase of intense misogyny (homocidal fantasies were commonplace).
Of my discovery of the "rave" scene. Elusive feelings felt through music and a drug called ecstasy. Of a downhill plummit into debt and what is likely to be permanent emotional instability.
But I won't. I have learned what I needed to learn. That tragic story is my journey into the successful, wise, loving and loved person I have yet to become.
As the days pass, I can feel the spirit of that man slowly enter my body.
Today I'm that much wiser (thought I had power over drugs, turns out I'll be attending Breakfast of Champions weekly once again.)
Today I'm that much more appreciated ("Don't transfer to the Broadway QFC. I really hate to lose you. You do a great job and I enjoy having you around.")
